Kickstart install over gige interface on HP zx6000

Hello,
  I'm hoping someone can help with this peculiar problem.  I am trying to
setup an automated kickstart install on an HP zx6000.  The machine has
dual interfaces, 1 10/100 and also a gige interface.  Our cluster
currently takes advantage of the gige interface, so consequently I'd like
to do my automated installs over that interface.  However, the RedHat
installer will not assign a dhcp address during the install, it just
hangs.  It gets weird.  This works perfectly fine if I use a static
address, so the interface is good and functions.  DHCP assignment will
work if I use the 10/100 interface, so DHCP is setup correctly.  When I do
a lanboot from the EFI shell and select the gige interface, I get an IP
address, and the tftpboot sequence kicks off ok.  But somehow if fails to
get an ip during the install.  Has anyway had this problem before?  Seems
very odd to me.  We are using RedHat Advanced Workstation 2.1 Update 2.
The installer recognizes the nic card and even loads the correct module,
but it will not assign an ip address.  Yes, I have the right interface set
in my ks.cfg file.  That file, btw, is passed inside initrd.img.  And I
have tried setting ksdevice=eth1 in my elilo.conf file, but that doesn't
seem to work either.  It only fails with DHCP and gig card, everything
else I try works fine.  Any pointers would be appreciated.  Thanks
