I was looking through the archives to solve my problem and I came upon this
thread. I also can't boot after the install. I did boot form the ls-120
disk in rescue mode, then mounted / and looked at /tmp/install.log There
are no failures in this file. I wanted to check the status of my boot
partition, but I'm not sure how or where to do this. I assume that to are
referencing a boot partition via the efi shell?

Hm, that's not good - no kernel. My first suggestion would be to
boot the installer in rescue mode, mount your root partition and
look in /tmp for the install.log, and see if there are errors from
installing the kernel RPMs.
