Redhat on HP i2000 ?

Tried installing the official RedHat 7.2 for Itanium CD set, it wouldn't even boot the elilo/kernel from the CD. Has anyone gotten RedHat 7.2 or 7.3 to work on HP i2000 machines? If so, how?
