Hello, do you feel like this may be a problem? I understand the Weblate logic is the same as wikipedia. Edits are made easy, and change tracking is complete, so you can get alerts and review features. This often is useful to correct typos or markup even if you're not a speaker of the language. What kind of group permissions do you think we should have? Technically speaking, we can't set group permissions if we use hosted.weblate.org. But if we host it, we can manage groups. I can do it with self-hosted, which you can also try using docker or yunohost. As far as I know, the Fedora translation platform is important, so I don't imagine the council/fesco/infra teams saying it's OK to use an external hosting. And when we had transifex (just before zanata), we were captive of the transifex developer because we didn't host transifex ourselve...
