If Fedora never really had that option, it was just words. Well, I wasn't there but it probably was the right choice at this time. The people did the work to leave a closed source platform and maintained a system working for years. We can easily move forward for another open-source tool. The difficult part is to make sure we don't force the choice and make sure everyone understands the pros and cons. For the context: In 2011, Fedora moved to transifex.com https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Migration_to_Transifex.com?rd=Migration_to_transifex.net In 2014, Fedora moved to Zanata https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/L10N_Move_To_Zanata it's easy to read what was said in the past, https://lists.fedoraproject.org/pipermail/infrastructure/2014-July/014475.html and I feel like most of what is written is still true. Note for readers: Dimitris is the transifex creator. -- Jean-Baptiste Holcroft _______________________________________________ trans mailing list -- [email protected] To unsubscribe send an email to [email protected] Fedora Code of Conduct: https://getfedora.org/code-of-conduct.html List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/[email protected]
