Hey, folks! I've been testing the new installer interface that's being used on the Workstation live image for Fedora 39, and while testing things in non-English languages, I noticed the translations for several languages which usually have very good coverage are very incomplete (e.g. French, Russian and Japanese). I absolutely get that everyone's a volunteer and I don't want to put any pressure on anyone :) Just wanted to flag up that the new UI means there are an unusual amount of new strings, and it would be awesome if folks do have the time to work on these translations before we get to Final. The installer team tells me there shouldn't be *too* much change to the strings between now and then, so the work shouldn't be wasted. If anyone's also on the GNOME translation teams, there's a new screen at the end of gnome-initial-setup - "Try or Install" in English, replacing the 'welcome screen' we had on live boot before - which is also missing translations in some key languages (inc. French and Japanese).
