last week, a ran ltsp-build-client 3t times with success, on Centos 6.4 
x86_64

[root@centoshofkwartier network-scripts]# uname -a
Linux centoshofkwartier 2.6.32-358.11.1.el6.x86_64 #1 SMP Wed Jun 12 
03:34:52 UTC 2013 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

ltsp-server-5.4.5-21.el6.x86_64
ltspfs-1.1-7.el6.x86_64
ltsp-release-5-9.el6.noarch

but today it didn't work for me either....
