Another method to install multiple machines the same way is with kickstart, It's typically best that you start out with kickstart in mind. In your case the tar method might be easier, depends how many changes you made post install. On the existing machine you will find an anaconde-ks.cfg file in root's home directory, that has all the information to setup a new machine identically to the post install state of the original. you can find all the info on the redhat manuals page: http://www.redhat.com/docs/manuals/linux/ you can customize the ks config to handle your post install configs as well. Is there a way I can clone one computer to the other? We're running Redhat 8.0 and the machine specs are identical. > > Best Regards > > Ian Young > > Graphic PLC > > Tel. +44 (0) 1363 774874 > Fax. +44 (0) 1363 775753 > Website: www.graphic.plc.uk > > This e-mail and any files transmitted with it are confidential > and intended for the exclusive use of the addressee only. > If you are not the intended recipient, you should not use the > contents nor disclose them to any other person and you should > immediately notify the sender and delete the email.
