Review the documentation (specifically our installation guide) in
www.redhat.com/docs/.  In it, you will note that you can get Red Hat Linux
9 in one of two ways:

    o A fresh install (essentially overwriting your 7.1 installation)

    o An upgrade (preserving your current system configuration, but transforming
      your 7.1 system into a 9 system)
