Application certified for 9.0, but not for 3.0...

Hi,

Our FEM analysis tool vendor Abaqus has their application
available for RH 9.0, but not for WS3, which we recently purchased.

Any advice, how we should 
a) convince them to create a port? (Is this a big effort?)
b) get the application otherwise running in ws3...
