Dear Alan Peery, Once you wrote about "Re: How to do these ??": AP> >b> 2) Porting of Public Folders from Exchange Server to Linux ? is there a AP> >b> way ? While IMAP folders is the closest to Exchange implementation, I still think that using mailing lists for this purpose is more appropriate. With mailing list one has greater control over the permissions. It is also nice to archive things sometimes. Statistics is another point. mailman ( http://www.list.org )would be my proposition :) AP> >There are several AP> >alternatives, which are still in development. It is very similar to the way Evolution operates. AP> >Ximian Evolution ...Calendar plug-in for Mozilla browser AP> There is another option high on my list for testing: Bynari's server AP> available at http://www.bynari.net. It supposedly offers full AP> calendaring support. I may have a chance to try it in the next couple AP> of weeks. Yes, I forgot to mention that :) According to the description at the site and some people responces (thanks to Google), Bynari server is a not bad solution. Although, the main concern of mine is the migration from one proprietry solution (Exchange) to another. Before doing so, I recommend to stop and think twice. -- Best regards, Leonid Mamtchenkov, RHCE System Administrator Francoudi & Stephanou Ltd.
