While IMAP folders is the closest to Exchange implementation, I still
think that using mailing lists for this purpose is more appropriate.
With mailing list one has greater control over the permissions.  It is
also nice to archive things sometimes.  Statistics is another point.

mailman ( http://www.list.org )would be my proposition :)

It is not single user.  People can exchange and integrate tasks over
email.  It is very similar to the way Evolution operates.

Yes, I forgot to mention that :)  According to the description at the
site and some people responces (thanks to Google), Bynari server is a
not bad solution.  Although, the main concern of mine is the migration
from one proprietry solution (Exchange) to another.  Before doing so, I
recommend to stop and think twice.
