How can i migrate from Mandrake 7.2 to RedHat 7.2

Hello,

Our company's file server has Mandrake 7.2 installed.
Can i switch to Red Hat 7.2 without loosing my data ?
There is a soft raid installation on this machine with
two SCSI drives in raid1 (mirror) mounted on /var.
The amount of data and configuration files on this
particular raid set is so big that there is no way to
back it up and re-deploy on a fresh installation.
Further more the file system on this machine is
ReiserFS.

Any help is very welcome,
