Bring heartbeat back up on the primary. Hello. When I went to add a 2nd Piranha/LVS and enable a heartbeat, I realized my concept of the hearbeat as applies to two LVS boxes was lacking. Do I setup the acting LVS so its heartbeat setting is the IP address of the fail-over LVS, or do I tell the fail-over LVS the heartbeat is the IP address of the acting LVS, so that if the fail-over LVS ceasing to locate the acting LVS, then it picks up the Public IP address ??? AND at such a point, how do I kick off a script which does an ifup eth0:1 and bring up LVS daemons ??? Note Piranha is the same as regular LVS but does have an lvs.cf file too which contains all the setups. Your direction on this would be most appreciated.
