hi stuart,

we use respective start and stop scripts in FOS mode to bring up more ip 
adresses with


#>ip address add 192.168.0.1/24 brd 192.168.0.255 dev eth0

this is to bring up aliased IPs

or we use the usual ifconfig in the start and stop scripts

this is no problem for us we are using that in production environments
