      Thanks for your quick response.
       You mean your two boxes are dedicated to   LVS router?
       But, in my senario, because of limited number of Linux Servers(only
2). So I have to use it both as LVS router and real server, (in real
server)which is installed a Apche1.3.27 to proxy all requests to
Application servers(weblogic 6.1).
      Can it be done? I found very little paper talk about such
configuration and information provided is not complete. So I have already
spent serveral days handle this problem.
     if you have some idea, please talk about it.

Hi Zhou,

No need to configure the real servers and LVS on same box. I have my
real servers on different linux machines. What I meant was that I am
not using same machine for LVS and backup instead have 2 different
machines.

On the LVS, I have 2 NIC cards, one for private(LAN) and one for
public(hits come here)  and have aliases for both of them.

On Backup too, I have 2 NIC cards but no aliasing is done as it has
to take the LVS aliases when LVS is down.

The lvs.cf file is same on both and am using NAT for routing.Tested
for 2 real servers in the cluster which are on 2 different linux
boxes.

Hope this clears your doubt.
