I KNOW the output of ps -ef or ps afx did not show the entire command lines - the point was merely to show the three methods used, ie. nanny uses (1) shell script, (2) passing a string, (3) nanny with ipvsadm; and nanny uses (3) if you don't specify (1) or (2). That was all I was saying, no more. Said another way, I was NOT making any conclusions based on COMMAND LINES at all. :-) But your statement about ipvsadm used by nanny only for scheduling, and your "ps auxww" suggestions were very enlightening.
