I had the same problem, i resolved it bye creating a "virtual real ip" :-)
for each httpd :
vip 10.1.1.1 on lo:1
and 192.168.1.1 on eth0:1 for nanny (realserver)
httpd1 listening on 10.1.1.1 and 192.168.1.1

vip 10.1.1.2 on lo:2
and 192.168.1.2 on eth0:2 for nanny (realserver)
httpd2 (or virtualhost2) listening on 10.1.1.2 and 192.168.1.2

etc ...
