The gateway is in fact a problem.. I don't know of any way
to rectify that. Also, by proposing this solution you are
creating potential problems. You say that it is 'overly
redundant'. Think about that statement for a minute, and
then think about the complete Director3/4 going down... Whenever
you add DNS to the mix (especially RR), all 'reliable' redundancy is shot.

I'm currently running 2.4.20, patched on RH8..  Advanced Server MAY
include the kernel patches (I think they advertise LVS as a product
for that line), too many bells and whistles (X being one of them:))
for my purposes ;)
