Hello Ed, Thank you very much for your reply! I did wonder if I would get criticized for using IIS but it is not my choice, that is made by our developers I am the infrastructure guy! To be honest I come from a Solaris on Sparc and Windows on intel background but am not really dedicated to one platform just try and use the one that keeps me in a job! :) I must say this is a quiet list, which is good since in the past I never get time to read lists that flood you with tons of mails. Thanks again David -----Original Message----- From: Edward Croft [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Tuesday, August 19, 2003 5:27 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: Piranha on same subnet On Tue, 2003-08-19 at 11:53, St.Clair, David wrote: > Dear List, > > I am new to the world of Piranha but am looking to use instead of expensive > Foundry Serverirons. Fortunately, this is not a standard list or they would have jumped on you about using IIS or as they would call it, ISC (Internet Swiss cheese). That being said and out of my system, You need to set up the NAT portion in your config. This way the two servers see the address as coming from the load balancer and not directly in. That would be my guess. Also make sure their default route points to that box. Hopefully, some more informed people will jump in, but that is my two cents.
