monitoring https using send / expect

Hi,

Can anyone tell me how to monitor HTTPS through LVS
using send / expect. 
I am currently monitoring http using send / expect.
Send string is "GET / HTTP/1.0\r\n\r\n" and expect
string is "HTTP".
