Hm. I am disinclined to acquiesce to your request.

If I have to patch code from an upstream vendor in order to get it to=20
work, I might as well go with another solution like ldirectord.

Don't get me wrong, I think the patch is necessary, but I also think=20
that RH should be the one to distribute it in an official release of=20
piranha.
