Diald Config

Good Morning We have upgraded our linux server from mandrake8.0 to redhat9.0 Prior to installing redhat we were able to activate the diald daemon, now with redhat we are unable to. wvdial works manually for us - but is a pain to have to activate it to sendmail,Fetchmail, access the internet etc. What do I need to do to make the diald work 4 me??
