PPPd Patch

I have set up a VPN server that will have Windows clients logging in. I installed PopTop for the PPTP server and it is all working well. However, I cannot log in with data encryption on. Searching the internet, I find I need a patch to PPPd. The only version of the patch I can find are for previous versions of the kernel. Does anyone know where I can find this patch for 2.4.20-8?
