Hi Kostas,

I tried all the possibilities you mentioned. It still did not work.

However i reinstalled linux and this time i selected all the BIND
packages.

Bind is related to the mechanism that translates the IP Addresses to the
URLs ( the www.ibm.com for example that humans understand ) .
Now the internet is working fine.

Possible causes include
