Newbie help with Java sdk install

I'm following the instructions
http://www.revealnet.com/newsletter-v2/Linux.htm to install oracle on
redhat 7.2.   

Im supposed to install the java sdk and I got it from sun okay. it's a
.bin file.  I don't know what to do with it.   Tried apropos bin.  Also
tried a program isobuster that is windows based.   There are no
instructions at sun.   :(     

Im a beginner and don't know what to do with this .bin.   its supposed
to be a self extracting RPM file.
