Re: New to the list, question concerning the automatic update

Read the advisory from earlier this week, esp. the RedHat specific 
section.  The backported the fixes into sendmail 8.11.6; the updated
RPM for this for 7.2 is sendmail-8.11.6-1.62.2.i386.rpm.    Back-porting
a fix is often easier and less destructive than moving to a newer version
of a package that might introduce other problems.

To get to your specific question, look at the man page for up2date.  You 
will see that, for example,

	up2date sendmail

will try to update sendmail, and only sendmail.
