Re: CODNS and Linux

This happens when DSL provider like Verizon provide just static IPs, when
the server/router reconnect, the connection using IP address will lost, it
will also happen on big LANs.
If you try to access this server on internet, you may be interested to look
at dynamicdns.org, there are several other site, you need to download a
client to your Linux server, so each time the server got a new address, will
contact the Dynamic DNS server to update.
If it it on the LAN, you need to write a small client-server program, rest
the server on a relatively stable one, the rest as client. Or write a
server-client combo to probe the rest itself.
