Bottom posting is also a faux-pas. In-line, like what I'm doing here, is
what is generally most acceptable, so you can see exactly what Iis being
responded to.

No. It's a mailing-list etiquette thing. Like trimming replies, saying
thank-you and posting solutions for problems back to the list.
