Re: Ver. 7.2 block device definition errors

Mike,
   YOU ARE THE MAN! "depmod -ae" fixed the problem and
allowed me to mount the device. 
   I had already tried to "umount" the device to which
the program replied "device not mounted" or words to
that effect. The device "/dev/cdrom" I have found is a
symbolic link to the device "/dev/hdc". This devices'
attributes show it to be a block device but when I
attempted to mount it I got the same error. Am I
correct in assuming that a dependency module was not
being loaded for that device?
