Re: Adding a disk to a RAID array

This is why I am frantically looking for the manual for the RAID controller.  It really irks me that I can not find it when I had it in hand less than a week ago.  I have even cleaned up my office down to the desk drawers looking for it.  Like I said I am reading through the generic one I found on Adaptec's web site but I haven't weeded through
the whole thing yet.  I keep getting interrupted for things like some one broke my $5,000 color laser printer, and bosses who need help setting up a data projector for their meetings.  I do know that the card I have is supposed to have 2 channels and I am only using 1 but that would mean having to buy 2 more drives and since there is a budget
crunch that is very unlikely.
