upgrade and kernel versions

Hi All,

has anybody any experiences for upgrade from RH7.2 to RH8.0? Is any trouble
with this or the upgrade goes simply? I have an Internet server with FTP,
DNS, Apache, PHP, Postgresql, MySql, Sendmail and SSH.

Another question. How can it be, that RH 9 has the newest (update) kernel
with version 2.4.20, and RH 7.2 has only 2.4.18?
