  Evan, I had a somewhat similar problem with a PC-Chips motherboard about
a year ago. Memtest detected zillions of memory errors. It turned out
the problem did not lie in the memory modules, but in the motherboard
itself, which I had to replace. I suggest you don't rule out this
possibility and test your module with another motherboard.
