I have a RedHat 7.2 system on a via 700 MHz all-in-one motherboard that is a
little flaky. I would like to swap the motherboard with a P3 motherboard
that I have and I am wondering how much trouble it is going to be. I know
with Windows, swapping the motherboard is usually very traumatic...

Usually I build a new system, then move my files and data to the new system.
I have never tried a motherboard swap with Linux. Has anyone done something
like this? How bad is it?

I will keep the same NIC, but different Video Card. I know that will have
to reconfigure X, but that is easy. What I am worried about are the
motherboard chip set differences.

Can anyone help?
