Can be done with NIS. Check out the man pages for yppasswd. I believe most
of the RPMs start with 'yp' as well (for "Yellow Pages", as NIS was
originally known). Have not set it up myself, but it should be
straigtforward.

Subject: Syncronizing passwords on multiple servers

Hi, I will have to RH 7.2 boxes running shortly and I would like to be able
to sync the users passwords on both
without them having to logon to each box separately to change their
passwords.

Is there an easy way of accomplishing this?

TIA
Andy
