We have a RH server which has had problems mounting the cdrom. fixed it by changing /dev/cdom to /dev/scd0 in /etc/fstab. kept getting set back to /dev/cdrom until i removed the kudzu option from the device line in fstab. however, now, the system automatically adds /dev/cdrom1..... i could shut down automatic start of kudzu, i'm sure, to stop this, but i don't want to do that. what is causing this device to keep being added to /etc/fstab???? I'm missing something and obviously, I'm not the greatest linux guy out here.... thanks for any insight....
