Dear Sir,

this is Jahan, I am new to Linux, I have installed Red Hat 9 on my machine with the following specifications:

P-4 1.8 GHz,
256 MB Ram
Intel D845 GLVA Mother Board
RedHat Linux 9

I am trying to configure Specialix I/O8+ card on my machine. Now the problem I am facing is that I coudln't able to load the module driver for Specialix I/O8+ card. I have tried different options but still unsuccessful,
What I know bout this Specialix I/O8+ card is that this device has the driver in RedHat 9 under the directory /lib/modules/2.4.20-8/kernel/drivers/char/specialix.o
And If I load this module at the root prompt according to the following command, then it works good.

# insmod specialix

But it works till the machine is rebooted, when I reboot the machine, then it disappears from the Linux kernel. So the problem is that
How I can permamnently load this module in the Redhat 9 kernel.

Kindly help me.

Thanks.

Regards.

Jahan
