Device /dev/cciss/c0d1 points to the entire disk; you have to mount the
single partitions instead, like this:

mount /dev/cciss/c0d1p<partnum> /mnt/<whatever>

If mount does not recognize the filesystem type (unlikely), you can try

mount -t <originalfstype> /dev/cciss/c0d1p<partnum> /mnt/<whatever>

If unsure about the partition table, use

fdisk -l /dev/cciss/c0d1
