Problem with 'shared libraries' in Red Hat 7.2

I have a problem and I can't find any solution.

When I run some applications, even at startup, I get this message:

"error while loading shared libraries: /lib/i686/libpthread.so.0: undefined
symbol: _dl_cpuclock_offset"

when I exec:    

//	bash# ldd /lib/i686/libpthread.so.0
                 	libc.so.6 => /lib/i686/libc.so.6 (0x40020000)
                  /lib/ld-linux.so.2 => /lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0x40000000)

	bash# ldd -r /lib/i686/libpthread.so.0
			libc.so.6 => /lib/i686/libc.so.6 (0x40020000)
                  /lib/ld-linux.so.2 => /lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0x40000000)
			undefined symbol: _dl_cpuclock_offset
(/lib/i686/libpthread.so.0)

	bash# nm /lib/i686/libpthread.so.0 | grep cpu
			U	_dl_cpuclock_offset	//

Notice that here the "_dl_cpuclock_offset" shows a U flag (U for undefined).
I don't know if it's a linking problem or a missed library, or some kind of
bug.
Did anyone have this problem? Or similar with other objects?
