Re: identifying the owner of an IP address.

whois, as far as I know, only looks up names.
I did write a perl script that get's hostname by addr (using
gethostbyaddr), but this doesn't return the host name for this machine, 
for some
reason.  It works for returning the name of say www.oracle.com,
but not for this one machine.  What I really need is the OWNER information
on this IP, since I would like to pursue possible legal action on him/her.
