RE: Linux Boot Floppy Went Bad on W2K-Linux Dual Boot

Thank you for replying. Booting from the CD and typing 'linux rescue'
appears to get me somewhere, but I need to do some reading to discover what
to do next.

I get the

sh-2.04#

command prompt and clearly I'm not looking at my file system. I've looked on
the Web for instructions for what to do next -- should I try to mount the
old file system somehow? should I use this command prompt to create a new
boot disk?

Could you direct me to a page with rescue instructions? The ones I've found
so far don't talk about this.

Did you try to boot from the CD and then type `linux rescue`?
