RPM Database Problem

I am trying to update some RPM's on my RedHat 7.0 server. I really only
want to get up2date updated so I can automatically process my updates
but I am running into a problem. Every time I try to install/update my
glibc or anything else I get the following error:

rpmdb: Suspiciously high nelm of 4294967295 on Page 0
error: db4 error (-30979) from db->verify: DB_VERIFY_BAD: Database
verification failed.

It sounds to me like my rpm database is gone wacko, question is how do I
correct it. I know a bit about what I am doing but really could use a
hand from a pro as I am a bit of a newbie.

Thanks in advance,

Robert Pare
