RE: RPM Database Problem

Thanks for the tip.  I ran it and I was able to install something
afterwards so I guess that is a good sign.  With some of the other files
that I am trying to update I enter rpm -Fvh "filename" and it just
returns to the command prompt and does nothing?  Any idea why?  Also,
some of the things I am trying to update tell me that I need
rpmlib(CompressedFiles) and various other rpmlib files.  Where do I get
these rpmlib files from?  I searched it out on the RedHat site but it
only came up with stuff on how to program with rpmlib and not how to
download the packages?  Any help would be great.

rpm --rebuilddb
