RedHat 8 Upgrade

So after all the problems we had the other day, I would like to upgrade to Redhat 8.0 which I believe is the newest product. Before I make this big move I wanted to consult my fellow Redhatters to ask is this going to be a fairly smooth transition? I am assuming there is a simple upgrade procedure so I don't have to worry about re-creating all of my users or redoing my config of DNS or Mail?
