It is probably an older binary that needs old versions of these libraries.
On my RH7.0 box, I have libm.so.6 for example but not libm.so.5.

You may be able to find these libraries amongst the packages on the
installation CDROM (probably listed as "compat" packages), or your favorite
RPM mirror. The C libraries have gone through several changes over the years
so what you're looking for might be older stuff.
