RE: Firewall Question

AFAIK ipchains is the old way of doing things and iptables is the new. I
would suggest using iptables, this is based on what others have told me.
They are reasonably similra but not identical.

I am wanting to move to a Linux based solution for my firewall/NAT/caching
etc.  I am reading some stuff online about such topics and I am find several
people talking about ipchains, and other talking about iptables?  First of
all, what is the diff?  Secondly is there one product I should be using over
the others?
