The question I have to ask is how are you planning to access this database? Do you need to give Windoze machines ODBC access or can you simply access the file directly? If the latter, you can use Samba to share the folder its in. If the former then you will need tom find an ODBC driver for Linux. psqlODBC sounds like an ODBC driver for Postgres and maybe not what you need. Do a Google search - Im not sure what is available as far as ODBC and Linux goes. I don't see what this has to do with partitioning your disk - unless the database is so large it won't fit on any existing file-system (in which case I would question why it is still in Access and not MySQL or Postgres). -- .jA repoleveD \ .nimdA smetsyS
