Suspend on Dell laptop

Hi,



I've been trying to get the suspend command to work on my Dell Inspiron 
8200 laptop with rh7.3, and have not been able to. I've tried a couple 
of ways I've found on the web. Basically, what I've tried is modifying 
rv.c from the Nvidia rpm, and recompiling, but I get an error message 
when I recompile. Any pointers, ideas or suggestions?
