Hello everyone,

I have a PC with a SIS 650 graphics driver.
I found after some dismay that the driver is only provided as a binary from SIS and it only works
for Redhat 7.0 or 7.2

Therefore I installed Radhat 7.0 from the official CD, and used Xconfigurator with the 'card not
known' option to generate a XF86Config file.
It is fine, by the way, in generic VGA mode.

I attempted to add a line in the Devices section, namely:
Drivers "sis"
and tried running startx
An error came up saying that the Drivers line was not accepted.

I'm wondering if I need to have an updated X server or kernel, but cannot find any wisdom by
"googling".

Hope someone has the answer, as I have never seen linux in 800 X 600!

Phil
