Hey everyone,

I've been testing RH7 on one of my systems and have just one minor issue: does RedHat handle serial ports differently to
Mandrake, Lycoris and other Linux distros? The machine has an Intel AL440LX mobo, and the serial ports have worked
perfectly under Mandrake 8.1 and Lycoris Desktop/LX Amethyst but I cannot sync my Palm to RH7 (or 7.2 for that matter).
Instead I get an error asking if my serial ports are correctly configured. The BIOS is set to non-plug and play OS, and the
ports are both correctly configured with the default settings. Any ideas?

Secondly, although slightly off-topic, I have also been playing with RH7.2. The system has a Voodoo 3 2000 graphics card,
which has all been correctly configured and works perfectly with the minor problem that playing a game such as TuxRacer
does not change the screen resolution from the default of 1024x768. Instead I get the game in the centre of the screen with a
black surround. I have looked through the various XF86Config files to try and find any options that could help but nothing's
turned up.

Thanks!

Christopher Ninnes.
