RE: couldn't install openssh-serverGenerally if you use the 'up2date'
utility it'll check on dependancies and download those for you as well.

ie:

  # up2date openssh-server

You can also just use the force option that will allow it to go ahead and
upgrade but you will have to also update some of the other packages. This is
the list that I had to update just to get the ssh server on there and
current.

  RHSA-2002:160 rpm -Uvh - -nodeps openssl-0.9.6-13.i386.rpm
                          rpm -Uvh openssl-devel-0.9.6-13.i386.rpm
                          rpm -Uvh openssl-perl-0.9.6-13.i386.rpm
                          rpm -Uvh openssl-python-0.9.6-13.i386.rpm
                          rpm -Uvh openssl095a-0.9.5a-18.i386
  RHSA-2002:197 rpm -Uvh - -nodeps glibc-2.2.4-18.7.0.7.i386.rpm
                          rpm -Uvh glibc-common-2.2.4-18.7.0.7.i386.rpm
                          rpm -Uvh glibc-devel-2.2.4-18.7.0.7.i386.rpm
                          rpm -Uvh glibc-profile-2.2.4-18.7.0.7.i386.rpm
                          rpm -Uvh nscd-2.2.4-18.7.0.7.i386.rpm
  RHSA-2002:127 rpm -Uvh - -nodeps openssh-3.1p1-5.i386.rpm
                          rpm -Uvh openssh-askpass-3.1p1-5.i386.rpm
                          rpm -Uvh openssh-askpass-gnome-3.1p1-5.i386.rpm
                          rpm -Uvh openssh-clients-3.1p1-5.i386.rpm
                          rpm -Uvh openssh-server-3.1p1-5.i386.rpm

  RHSA-2001:112 rpm -Uvh rhs-printfilters-1.81-4.rh7.0.i386.rpm
                          rpm -Uvh rhs-printfilters-1.81-4.rh7.0j.i386.rpm
  RHSA-2002:071 rpm -Uvh sudo-1.6.5p2-1.7x1.i86.rpm

                          rpm -Uvh unzip-5.50-2.i386.rpm
  RHSA-2002:196 rpm -Uvh xinetd-2.3.9-0.70.i386.rpm

You can download these updated packages from the Errata site on
redhat.com. Let me know if someone has something easier. Good Luck.

  Subject: couldn't install openssh-server

  Hi,

I am trying to install openssh-server on my linux
redhat7.0. I could not do that because openssh-server
requires GLIBC-2.2.4 and what is installed in my linux
  redhat 7.0 is libc2.1.92. I couldn't find an
openssh-server that can work with libc2.1.92.
Please advice me of what to do? All I need is to setup
  an ssh server.

  Regards,
  M.Farah
